Eau Claire Public Schools Foundation Offers Emergency Teacher Grants and Student Support

The Eau Claire Public Schools Foundation (ECPSF) has launched an emergency grant program to support Eau Claire Area School District (ECASD) teachers and staff who are educating students remotely due to the COVID-19 outbreak and the resulting school closures. Typically, ECPSF offers grants in fall for the district’s teachers and staff to use toward classroom needs. However, the current remote format may require different educational tools. COVID19 Support for Students

The State of Wisconsin Department of Health Services has ordered all Wisconsin schools to close after the school day on Wednesday, March 18. ECASD schools are cancelled for students beginning Thursday, March 19 through Friday, April 3. Classes are anticipated to resume on Monday, April 6. Plans are underway to support our families and students during this unprecedented event. New Fund Will Help Local High Schools Install Solar Panels

ECPSF is excited to announce the newest addition to its Family of Funds: The Solar on Eau Claire Schools Fund. It will support the installation and maintenance of solar panels on Eau Claire's North and Memorial High Schools. Solar on Schools was started by the nonprofit Couillard Solar Foundation (CSF). This project strives to reduce schools' carbon footprints as well as to reduce their energy costs.
