Morgan Priem Eau Claire Public Schools Foundation (ECPSF) announces the award of the 2020 J Murphy STEM Scholarship to Morgan Priem, a Memorial High School senior. The scholarship was established with ECPSF in 2016 by an anonymous donor with family roots in the community and a passion for helping students pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM). ECPSF announces internet access support for Eau Claire Area School District

Jeff Thompson Photography A local retiree recently donated $10,000 to the Eau Claire Public Schools Foundation with an eye on supporting internet access and connectivity costs for Eau Claire Area School District (ECASD) students and teachers who are managing education from home.  Given the governor’s stay-at-home extension, school buildings will remain closed for the duration of the 2019-20 school year, leaving students and teachers to continue navigating online learning and teaching.  The shift to online education has been especially difficult for families in rural areas who may…

Eau Claire Public Schools Foundation Offers Emergency Teacher Grants and Student Support

The Eau Claire Public Schools Foundation (ECPSF) has launched an emergency grant program to support Eau Claire Area School District (ECASD) teachers and staff who are educating students remotely due to the COVID-19 outbreak and the resulting school closures. Typically, ECPSF offers grants in fall for the district’s teachers and staff to use toward classroom needs. However, the current remote format may require different educational tools. COVID19 Support for Students

The State of Wisconsin Department of Health Services has ordered all Wisconsin schools to close after the school day on Wednesday, March 18. ECASD schools are cancelled for students beginning Thursday, March 19 through Friday, April 3. Classes are anticipated to resume on Monday, April 6. Plans are underway to support our families and students during this unprecedented event.
