North High School’s class of 1968 recently celebrated their 50th class reunion, sharing a tour of the building and poring over photos together. Their reunion culminated with a gift to North High School. The class raised $2,000 for North High School’s Lunch and Learn program to support the many students who qualify for free or reduced lunch at the school and assist in the outstanding lunch balances of at risk students.
The class of 1968 was proud to come together to support today’s Huskies. “The NHS Class of ‘68 reunion planning committee challenged the Class of ‘68 to show their Husky Pride through contributions and raffle participation,” classmate Kathy Ayres shared. “During our 50th reunion activities, the class went above and beyond all expectations. By selecting the Lunch and Learn Passes from the NHS Wish List to receive their donation, the North High School Class of 1968 demonstrated Husky Pride is caring, compassion and generosity!”
North High School principal Cale Bushman was thrilled to hear of the class’s pride for North and their support of today’s students in need. "Thank you to the class of 68 for their generosity in giving back to the students of their alma mater,” he shared. “The class’s North pride is recognized and appreciated!"
